The flagship product of the brewery, this beer is copper colored and clear with a lively carbonation and a pleasantly malty nose and taste, verging on sweet, but tempered in the end by a touch of bitterness. Not bad at all.
Exclamation point is theirs, but it is a good beer. Closer to stout in many ways, this beer is jet black with a burnt caramel nose and a bready and roasty flavor. Rich mouthfeel. Low detectible bitterness, and a pleasantly roasted finish. A pretty good beer overall.
Bosque churns out a rootbeer that's pretty darn good. More interesting in flavor than your average mainstream Barqs or A&W.
Bosque closed up shop in early 1998, but used to be located near the Dr. Pepper museum in Waco.
