Todd (lexinoel@aol.com) reports: Definitely a top notch establishment. Their head brewer Paul is a gifted artist who produces some of the best beer to be had in the US. Some recommendations: Hudson's ESB (hand drawn from a traditional engine - an excellent brew, unfortunately does not keep well in growlers), Katy Trail Pale Ale (a perennial fav - excellent on site, in growlers, or in keg - keeps its flavor even if allowed to go flat, an occurance that does not often happen!), and finally not to be left out the IPA.

Everything was very well made and they have a nice cask conditioned ale hand pumped up from the cellar in the true British style. I think the basic recipes were developed by the original brewmaster (originally Dave Miller, he's since moved on to Nashville). The beer I drank was being made by a woman who was doing a splendid job! They also have superb pub food (with chips made from whole fresh potatoes, not frozen!) Definitely worth a stop or a long visit as time allows.

americat@concentric.net reports: This small but pleasant bar opened in June 1997. The bar offers nine beers on tap, with about 200 bottle beers available. They also offer a few select cigars, a full line of mixed drinks, several types of reasonably priced pizzas and soft pretzels.
Monday through Saturday 9:00 am to 1:30 am. The tap beers are priced from $3.75 to $4.25. Happy hours 4:00pm to 7:00pm - the tap beers are $.50 off the regular price.
