kegged beers and English pub food. Convenient to the new
North York Theatre where Showboat is playing.

- The Absinthe Pub, (Winters College, York University -- Must have University ID or be a guest of a York person).
- Typically 6-8 kegged beers. Guinness and Smithwicks are regulars. Good
barbeque at lunch and dinner during summer term. Well, this
used to be true. A student of mine told me that it is
closed for the summer.

Excellent food, excellent beer - usually with at least one tap of cask-conditioned ale from the
Hart brewery. It's also a member of the Neighbourhood Pubs Association of Ontario - a sure sign of
a good place.

prices, the coffee porter was ok, but not "yummy" as one person put it - the coffee taste was strong and almost
seemed like too much was used, also had their own cask bitter, which was also a little disappointing, had many
other locals and their own on tap to try.
