- Todd Anderson (TRANDER@UNIVSCVM.CSD.SCAROLINA.EDU) says: large brewpub and restaurant. They have a
couple of ale and a porter and I think they're working on a weizen. Also
serve large selection of micros in the area.

- Erin Culbertson(culbertson_erin/furman@furman.edu)reports:thumbs up on the Hunter-Gatherer. A brewpub that does brewpubs justice, they don't serve any but their own. And the menu is damn good...

Whilsted@aol.com (Paul Blanchette) reports:
The wife & I just returned from a visit to this establisment & I must say that
it was a complete waste of time & beer! Their beers are boring and not very well made.
The staff was also beer illiterate. Our waitress couldn't tell me anything about the
beer she was serving us except the style & I think she had that written on the palm
of her hand!
I have been homebrewing for a little over a year(extract) & I am definitely
making better beer. Their porter had no distinguishable qualities. The Raspberry Wheat
was not intergrated at all! It tasted as though they brewed a wheat beer & they add
some raspberry flavorings to the beer afer they pour it.
My suggestion: If your at Hilton Head & want a good beer...bring your own!
