  Chuck Sheldon, (skitime3@cs.com) reports: Having visited several times now (both in summer and winter), I can state that the brewery atmosphere has improved along with the food selection. They had eight beers on tap when we were there last. And all were delightful. The Rolling Thunder Dortmunder is a well balanced, light and refreshing golden brew fashioned after the city of Dortmundsâ Export Lager. The Snake River pale Ale is an American style pale ale whose crisp flavor is enhanced by a healthy amount of dry hopping. This Pale Ale will stand up to any in the region. Jacksonâs ESB is an English style amber ale characterized by a rich malt flavor and assertive hoppiness. The Monkeyâs Dunkel is a traditional Munchener Dunkel (Dark Munich) style bier. It is fashioned after the original lagers of Europe before the advent of pale biers. Olâ Stinky's Strong Ale is an English style strong ale that is rich in color, full in flavor, sweet, yet balanced with a heavy hop aroma. This baby packs a punch @ 7.6%alc. (and Wendy's pick of the day!). The Zonker Stout is a rich well-balanced stout with a generous amount of roasted barley. It has a nice body and aroma, and matches up to any stout that I have tasted, (and my pick of the day!). We had the pleasure of visiting with the Brew Master, Chris Erickson. Of all the breweries we have visited, Chris has put Snake River Brewing on the top of the charts! Chris really took care of us with EVERYTHING!!! Thanks Chris! The food selection has grown with every return visit, and as of this season they are an Eatery to be reckoned with. Try the pasta bowl, or chicken sandwich·both is awesome. They also bake pizzas in a slate oven. They cover the gambit from veggie to artichoke, as well as the more conventional types. When in Jackson, this is a MUST STOP! We enjoy the brewery every time we roll through Jackson. We Will Return!! Rating 1-10 (10) * Has Growlers
