I really like this little bar. Beer selection is decent, but the atmosphere is strangely endearing.
35+ taps and a number of fine bottles. Most notable tap is the elusive Anchor Porter, and the occasional Optimator. Regular specials for $2 pints (and that includes Optimator).

Five micro's on tap when we were there. They have 20 seasonals that they rotate. The Sample Trout
Stout was an interesting blend as was the Padre Island Pale Ale (and my pick of the day). The South
Padre Island Blonde was Wendy's favorite...They also had an Octoberfest and a Tidal-wave Wheat that
was very tasty with no real aftertaste. They specialize in southwest seafood, though their baby back
ribs are said to be legendary! Pizza magazine has ranked this establishment in the TOP 100 pizza
restaurants as well- They have a great "sunset deck" upstairs, with a game-room and bar. he current
brewmaster is Mark Haggenmiller and he seems to be doing a great job! The GM is Tom Chaffee who was
very helpful. He has put together quite a place. Definitely one I want to re-visit........Rating 1-10 (9)

The Padre Island Blonde Pale Ale is good. That's the only
one I've tried.
