Pub in the basement. Used to be the Blarney Stone until it moved above ground. Great atmosphere, reasonably good selection of beer, though could be better, and not as broad as Blarney Stone.
Irish pub directly behind (or in front of, depending) the Black Dog. Darts, pool, and plenty of draft Guiness (among other fine beers) to be had. Good (meaning somewhat out of the ordinary) choices in bottles.
64 on tap, and 150 in bottles with a laid back atmosphere, and plenty of couches to linger on. Live music on occasion (cover occasionally, but only a buck or two). Similar to Gingerman chain, but with hundreds of plates on the walls. Original branch of what is now a statewide chain.
Good selection of bottled beer. Live music every night of the week and no cover charge. A funky little dive that always provides a good time for the young and old.
Closed Early 2002 Equipment is still in place...possible re-opening?
Brews some sort of lightish lager. Initially distributed on tap around the stockyards and downtown. Bottles purportedly on the way.
Excellent neighborhood bar feel. About 15 taps, more on bottle; good beers mostly in the selection. Emphasis on english styles, Imperial Pints on tap pulls at reasonable prices along with well maintained taps/lines. Darts available, but the laid-back feel coupled with a nice beer selection is the best thing going for the place.
