You can support Southlake by donating your empty bottles to the Beer Store

The effort runs until August 28 at stores in Newmarket, Aurora, East Gwillimbury, Bradford

From now until August 28, you can support your local hospital by returning your empty bottles to The Beer Store in Newmarket, Aurora, East Gwillimbury and Bradford.

The Beer Store Empty Bottle Returns fundraising program asks residents to donate their empty beer, wine and liquor containers to benefit the Southlake Regional Health Center at participating stores:

  • 1100 Davis Drive, Newmarket
  • 16715 Yonge Street, Newmarket
  • 14800 Yonge Street, Aurora
  • 15820 Bayview Ave, Aurora
  • 18307 Yonge Street, Unit 1, East Gwillimbury
  • 452 Holland Street West, Bradford

“The Southlake Foundation is grateful to the owners and employees of The Beer Stores who have chosen Southlake to receive their community donations,” according to a press release. “From groundbreaking procedures and innovative uses of technology to a commitment to the best patient care, all proceeds benefit Southlake Regional Health Center.”

Since 2020, $116,511 has been raised for Southlake through bottle drives.

Cash donations are also accepted at participating establishments.
